Recent Tours
We leave Fes early in the morning and travel through Ifrane on our way to the cedar woodland of Azrou,
home to untamed primates. This is a fantastic chance to take pictures in the remote areas of Morocco.
We stopped in the sleepy Berber town of Zaida for lunch. We travel on through the Atlas Mountains,
taking in the scenery of the Medilt, until we reach the prosperous city of Erfoud and the first signs of the
Tafilalet oasis in the Sahara Desert. Continue on to Merzouga after a rest.You’ll be sleeping on a donkey
in the wilderness tonight. Sleep in a traditional Berber yurt…
After seeing the dawn in the desert, we will return to Merzouga by camel, and after breakfast and a wash
at the hotel, we will begin our trip to Ouarzazate, stopping along the way to explore the Berber
communities of the Todra Gorge… Then we go through Dades, the Valley of Roses, Skoura… We’ll arrive
in Ouarzazate in the twilight.
Leaving Ouarzazate early in the morning, we travel to Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most
spectacular Kasbahs and best-preserved strongholds, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The likes of
“Gladiator” and many others were shot here. We then head out of Ait Benhaddou toward the towering
peaks of the Atlas Mountains. Tizni Tichka, Morocco’s highest road crossing at 2,260 meters, will take
you through the High Atlas Mountains and provide you with breathtaking vistas of the valley, mountains,
and surrounding Berber communities. We reach Marrakech in the twilight.
