2 Days from Fes to Merzouga

one-night tour from Fes to Merzouga and back to Fes on the second day:
Day 1:

You will be picked up from your hotel or riad in Fes early in the morning to start your journey towards Merzouga. Along the way, you will pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of cedar forests, valleys, and Berber villages.
Your first stop will be in Ifrane, a charming town known for its Alpine-style architecture and European feel. You can take a stroll through its streets and see its famous Lion statue and Cedar Forest. From there, you’ll continue on to Azrou, a Berber village famous for its cedar forest and wild monkeys. You’ll have a chance to see the monkeys and take some pictures with them. Afterward, you’ll drive through the Ziz Valley, which is known for its oasis of palm trees, and finally arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your camel caravan and embark on a magical journey into the Sahara desert. You’ll ride on the back of your camel as you watch the sunset over the dunes and make your way to your desert camp. At the camp, you’ll have a traditional Moroccan dinner and enjoy the evening with music and dancing around the campfire. You’ll also have the opportunity to stargaze and experience the silence and peace of the Sahara.

Day 2:

You’ll wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga on your camel. After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll start your journey back to Fes. On the way back, you’ll pass through the Ziz Valley and stop for a visit to the famous cedar forest of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you can take a short hike and enjoy the fresh mountain air. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive back in Fes, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or riad.
